A simple query is executing slow and taking long time to execute

    HI all,

    A simple query is executing slow and taking long time to execute but it has to execute in 2to 8 sec actually??

    select count (*) from acmt [its a view ]

    in this case how to slove the issue ? and get back to normal execution time ??
