I read the entire Training Kit book, aced all the book questions, was able to answer all 200 simulated test questions in 90 minutes with a 95% passing score.
Took the exam and didn't pass (got 675, needed 700). Actually the 2 hours was just enough time for me to finish the exam and review about 20 questions.
Conclusion, the Training Kit Book is good for knowledge and reference but not good for preparing you for the exam.
Very upset. I think I have to wait 45 days to retake. Is that correct?

First post here, glad to be a part of this community.
I had my first go at the 70-461 exam yesterday and had an unfavorable outcome. I am some what new to the SQL community, having done other programming in (believe it or not) Synergex DBL (long story).
Anyways, I am encouraged by how difficult this exam was. It will feel that much better when I pass it. It seems to be proficient in what exam asks for one needs to log many hours writing code in SQL, which is what I plan on doing.
Question for the group: Are there any online study groups for this exam? Or is the forum by best resource for Q and A?
Cheers,
Rho
