We have several SQL 2005 Servers which run numerious maintenance jobs, some running a few seconds, some serveral hours.
We have spreadsheet keeping track of all this, but looking at it, it's still difficult to fine a good hole during which to insert a new backup or indexing job, plus there's uncertainty of whether they are always updated when they should be.
Does anyone know of a good tool that can look at all of a jobs running on a MSSQL 2005/2008 Server, list all jobs, calculate from history their average run times, and then plot a chart showing visually when everything is running?
Thanks!
