2014 AG failover only one database

    Good Morning Experts,

    We are using SQL Server 2014 Availability Groups. As per my understanding, all the databases in the AG will be failed over to the secondary replica. Is there a way where I want only 1 database in the AG to get failover. Like suppose, one database in AG went to suspect state, can I failover only this one database instead of entire AG?

    An AG is a single unit for failover. So....Entire AG(All the underlying DBs) will be moved over to another replica based on your setup, You can't have a single DB floating(You can only if your AG has that single DB).
