Hi,
I have my SQL Server 2008 in ISO format (File name given below)
SW_DVD5_SQL_Svr_Enterprise_Edtn_2008_English_MLF_X14-89207.ISO.
Could anyone tell me how to use this dump file for installing the 2008.
Thanks,
Nagarjun.

You need to use virtual drive to install the software. There are some free ones available for limited time period like alcoholsoft120. There are many others too. you can search the net.

- Download Winrar (similar to WinZip).
- Extract your ISO file into a folder where you'd like your install to reside.
- Within the folder, kick off setup.exe

I had the same problem too. And my windows sysadmin suggested me to use 7zip ( a free zip/unzip software) to open/extract the ISO file. It was successful.
Didn't try WINRAR, believe it does the same.

You need to burn the ISO image file to a DVD and then use that to install.
Head over to http://bwgburn.sourceforge.net/ and download the free BwgBurn CD/DVD Burning Software, that worked well for me.
