2008 DTS question! stardds.dll File version: 2000.80.2151.0

    I'm unable to locate a copy of the stardds.dll File version: 2000.80.2151.0 so that I

    can edit DTS in 2008 SSMS. I checked each Service Pack 1-4 and have searched the internet

    for this specific version but to no avail. Any help would be great.

    Have you installed the backwards compatibility software from the SQL 2008 Feature Pack? If not do that first.

    I had installed that and designer components, after you mentioned it I tried repairing it, since I'd been making changes with service packs, Still no joy. From my what I read I need to get my hands on this newer dll.

    I'd followed the steps pretty faithfully. I'd copied the 3 dlls and rlls and installed the BC and components designer packs. I also spent time on the PATH environmental variable and made sure 80 was before 100.

    If anyone out there is using DTS and able to edit packages in SSMS please send me a copy of your stardds.dll

    Path = C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn
