Hi All
We have an A/A/P Cluster running 2005 serviced packed to level 2
Or so we thought,
We had a failure on the first A node, it failed over to the P node, but changed the login mode to Windows only, anyone any ideas why? As the instance before it fell over was Mixed.
We failed the node back to its proper A node all was fine, is changed back to mixed mode.
Kerching but again so we thought
Couple of days later the second A node failed over to the P node, this time the autenticaion stayed as mixed but @@Version reported the instance as being at SP1, this is the main issue here, does anyone have any feedback / information / fixes that they know of or have experienced themselves?
Thanks
Anthony

-Check out the upgrade logs !
You'll probably find them at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Hotfix
After that, if I were in your shoes, I would rerun SP2.
The login mode is stored in a reg-key. Apparently the sp wasn't able to copy it to the second node.
Keep in mind to also apply at least Cumulative update 2 (we currently install CU5). Current is CU7.
