This has been a great week for me.  I had a lot of new faces come out for the Columbus GA SQL Users Group meeting Tuesday night as well as being notified that I have been made a PASS Regional Mentor for South Central US. Mark Ginnebaugh sent out the official communication to the Regional Mentors and all Chapter Leaders informing them of the change.  Karla Landrum had my information added to the website and then the tweets and replies started coming in.  I am very humbled to be a part of such an awesome community.  The states I am responsible for are Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.  I will be working with Erin Welker who is also a Regional Mentor for this region.  I am really looking forward to this new role as well as making a few trips out that way for SQL Saturdays and SQL Rally.
