I will be teaching a special five week version of ICT 4462 – Transact SQL Programming at Denver University, University College starting on Monday, July 12, 2010. The class will meet on campus, on Monday and Thursday nights. It will have the same content as the regular 10 week class, condensed into a five week summer session. I think the format will work well, since there will be less time between class sessions, which will force the class to work to keep up with the content. I will be using Itzik Ben-Gan’s excellent Microsoft Press book, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 T-SQL Fundamentals as the course textbook.
We will be using either SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition or SQL Server 2008 R2 Developer Edition, depending on whether Microsoft updates the DreamSpark program to use the R2 version by July.
