This is my biggest gripe with SSIS: I have a data flow task, and within that I’m pulling data from multiple sources into multiple destinations, with a few performing data flow transformations.  While testing, I want to disable some of the components.  You can’t.  You can disable any task in a control flow, but not the data flow.

There is a Connect item on this: SSIS – Add Enable/Disable within Data Flow Tab.  It seems this won’t be “fixed” in Denali either.

So the only solution is to copy the data flow task, or the entire package, and delete the appropriate components.

Please Microsoft, make this better!
