The call for Pre Con speakers for the 2011 PASS SQLRally closed last Friday (Oct. 15) and I want to extend a thank you to the following people who submitted abstracts:

Following the process that we published in the application, the abstract review team is looking at all of the submissions this week. The review team consists of:
- One representative from the PASS Board of Directors: Andy Warren
- One representative from the PASS SQLRally partner Chapter (OPASS): Jack Corbett
- One community member: Brent Ozar
- One (non-voting) representative from PASS HQ: Craig Ellis
It is our goal to complete the initial review process this week so that we can open up the community voting next week. We had a brief mention about this in today's PASS Connector and, following our published process, we'll also announce when voting opens via Twitter and the PASS Blog.
