I've gotten in contact with most of the speakers who submitted SQL Server security talks for the PASS Summit. All that I've traded emails on DMs on Twitter are interested, it's just a matter of putting together some details. In addition, several folks who do talks on SQL Server security who didn't happen to submit security-related talks also indicated interest. We effectively have enough topics to run a webinar every two weeks through the rest of 2013. Now it's a matter of handling the logistics. Also, there's an effort by Argenis Fernandez (blog | twitter) to get a Security Virtual Chapter going with PASS.
There's a lot going on in the security space with respect to SQL Server and that makes me happy, happy. Check back here soon for more details about both of these efforts. If you're a speaker interested in giving a SQL Server security talk and I'm not in contact with you already, drop me a line at brian {dot} kelley {at} linchpinpeople {dot} com.
