It’s the first day of 2012. Setting New Year Resolutions is often a futile activity – and resolutions I’ve set in the past tend to crumble as soon as I become busy again.
I prefer to emphasise the on going challenge of learning and developing as a DBA .
My goals for this year are:
1) Update my blogs – SQLServer-DBA.com and DBA-DB2.com more frequently. You can find all the SQLServer-DBA.com blog posts from last year on - SQL Server DBA:Everything
2) Become more involved in the community – such as local user groups and posting more answers on forums.
3) Spend a large proportion of my time on Database Architect and Performance Tuning activity.
