I’ve submitted presentations before to CodeCamp and SQL Saturdays before, but have never been selected to present due to terrible abstract, too many submissions or a myriad of reasons, which are frankly, never revealed to those of us turned down, BUT….that has changed. I’ve submitted an abstract to SQL Saturday #232 Orlando and was accepted as a speaker.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to be dropping new and revolutionary knowledge, but it will interesting (for us SQL geeks at least) and relevant to SQL Server. One thing that I have noticed over the last few years is that there are many students that attend (especially South Florida) SQL Saturdays, yet not too many beginner level classes that could be beneficial to those just starting to really flex their T-SQL muscles. Putting this need and my desire to talk alot together, I figured I might as well share some of the things I’ve learned over the years.
If you’re looking to take the fast lane to learn about a few T-SQL commands that I’ve been missing out on over the years as a developer, come join me in Room 4106 at 4:30 at SQL Saturday #232 and hopefully you can take something away with you.
