I just got the notification that I will be one of the speakers at the Rocky Mountain Tech Trifecta on March 5, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. This event (which is in its third year) is like a mixture of a SQLSaturday and a Code Camp, with tracks devoted to SQL Server, .NET, SharePoint, Windows Administration, and a Beginner’s Track.
I have spoken at the previous two Tech Trifecta events, and they have been well run and well attended, with 500-600 attendees. Like most similar events, there is always a good supply of swag and door prizes that are given away during the event. More importantly, it is a full day of high quality, free training from many well-known speakers.
I will be giving my “Hardware 201: Selecting and Sizing Database Hardware for OLTP Performance” presentation, which I really enjoy. It should be a fun event, and I hope to see you there!
