A few years ago I went to Seattle a few days before the PASS Summit started. I took my middle son and we spent 3 days wandering around Seattle, seeing some amazing sights. We went to the Museum of Flight and the Underground Tour, along with a few other places and had a great time. This year I’ll be going early again, and I’ll get to spend a day with my oldest son, who lives in Seattle.
However I’ll also be getting to work early. SQL in the City is coming to Seattle on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center. It’s just a short walk from the Convention Center on the water, and we’ll have another great lineup of speakers.
If you are coming to the Summit, and would like a free day of sessions on Monday, sign up and come down. We’ll do training the Red Gate way, with great speakers, topics, discussions, debates, and food.
This will be the end of our 2012 tour, but I’m sure we’ll have plenty of our SQL Star beer available at the end of the day. Register and come on down if you will be free on Monday.
I’ll likely be in town on Saturday, and I’ll be going hard. I will likely get a run in early in the morning before the event, but I’ll be jogging along the water on Tuesday as well, so catch me on Twitter if you want to tag along.
