All of the materials for my Biml session for DataMinds.be can be downloaded from Github:
- the slidedeck (it’s only 12MB :))
- a .sql file with the DDL statements to create objects (schema, tables, views, stored procs, functions) in a database called Biml (which you have to create yourself). Along with some metadata in those tables.
- a .zip file with an Integration Services project. It contains all the Biml files used in the demos.
The demos use the AdventureWorks2017 and AdventureWorksDW2017 databases, as well as the StackOverflow database (that’s quite a big one though). They also read data from Master Data Services databases (conveniently called MDS and MDS2017). In MDS, the sample models are installed.
