I've been asked this question a few times, and Columbia, SC isn't hosting a SQL Saturday this year. Bobby Dimmick (blog | twitter) and I are looking to do something related to IT architecture because we see a gap there. We've had some real interest on this front, now it's just a matter of pulling everything together. And truth be told, it may not end up being held in Columbia. We're considering other locales, too.
With that said, I'm doing more SQL Saturdays this year, and I've had sessions accepted at two upcoming ones thus far. They are:
- SQL Saturday #110 - Tampa (schedule isn't finalized yet)
- SQL Saturday #111 - Atlanta
I'm also going to be speaking at OPASS prior to the Tampa SQL Saturday. More on that soon. As for the SQL Saturdays, here are the sessions I'll be giving:
- #110: The Dirty Business of Auditing
- #111: Being the Swiss Army Knife of DB Pros
- #111: Windows Operating System Internals for DB Pros
