I had a very unpleasant experience a while back when I was commenting anonymously on a web site (not SQL related...it was a mainstream business news site). A fellow anonymous commenter that disagreed with me replied to me and intimated he knew my location. This freaked me out and led me to research into how I could protect my online privacy. It was likely a common JavaScript hack.
