It would be handy to have a checkbox/SET option/something that would tell SQL not to cache plans run in a Query Analyzer session. Not a huge deal, but would keep from junking up the cache with plans that don't really matter and are unlikely to be reused again. In practice they could stay there for a while on well tuned systems with plenty of room in cache, or could get flushed out again reasonably quickly on a server experiencing memory pressure. Not sure it would be a real gain, but just seems like a neater (as in orderly) approach.
