In life, many times we get confused by symbols or indicators that we make assumptions about. You know what they say about folks who make assumptions. Yes, they are making assumptions. Enough about those people. Typically we want to make sure that if we're designing a data wareouse, report, dashboard, or single engine aircraft that we note items in the way the public or our customers would like to see them. This means getting feedback so they don't think that AC means bacon. Yes you know this could happen but admitting it to yourself would make you cry.
