Last night, I received my hard-copy of Pro SQL Server 2008 Mirroring from APress. This book has a lot of useful information and code to help you easily create and monitor database mirrors in SQL Server 2008. I was the technical reviewer for the book, which was a lot of fun. The book is also available now from Amazon.
If you are going to be at SQL PASS in Seattle, there will be a book signing of the SQL Server MVP Deep Dives book by many of the 53 authors (including me) on Wednesday, November 4 from 12:00PM to 12:30PM. One nice thing about the Deep Dives book is that all of the author proceeds are going to War Child International.
My employer, NewsGator Technologies, was nice enough to put out a press release promoting SQL Server MVP Deep Dives last week. They are also planning on buying a decent number of copies to give to prospects and and clients, which is very welcome.
