One of the weaknesses of the current SQLSaturday tool set is that the front page isn’t strong by default. It does a lot of good work, but it’s not what I’d call great (and wow, is it better than v1 and v2!), but it does offset that weakness by allowing you to put in whatever HTML you want, so that you’re not limited by the tools/options provided. Kendal Van Dyke put some time into trying to make ours look better this year and I think it was time well spent. It will probably evolve more before it’s all over, but wanted to point out that this is one of the places where you can be creative (or a volunteer from your group) and more than half the fun is being creative, trying new things.
