In case you missed it, being tucked away amongst all the other UK SQL Server User Group date announcements that I share on the weekly SQL Server Links round-up, I wanted to make sure that you all know the BIG news is that it’s back on!
That’s right, there will be a SQL Server User Group meeting in London on the evening of Wednesday March 2nd. Neil Hambly(Blog|Twitter) will be presenting on XQuery fundementals and Dave Ballantyne (Blog|Twitter) on re-engineering for faster performance. This is the first User Group meeting in London of the year and we’ve not had one for quite some time so it’s really important that you come along and show your support. Not to mention, this is one of Your Techie Resolutions for the year.
These events are a fantastic opportunity to not only learn about SQL Server but to also meet and rub shoulders with other members of the community. Got a performance problem that your stuck on? Want to know how to work with large Replication deployments? Need help devising a DR strategy? Come along and ask us about it! Whatever it is that you want to know about SQL Server, join us on Wednesday 2 March and with a room packed full of data professionals we’ll get you on the right track.
No matter what stage of your career or your experience level with SQL Server, everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun. Places are limited, so make sure you register here and I will see you there.
