I don't know why, but I never "got" LinkedIn and I ended up leaving it in frustration as I was getting spammed a lot.
I am hoping to "do" LinkedIn right this time and I have spent a good long time today trying to only invite DBA types (as much as is possible, you will always make mistakes with things like this).
I am sure there still are a LOT of people that I missed.
