I got to go to the Pass Summit in 2011 and had a fantastic time despite some travel issues caused by my own stupidity. Shortly after that I got to go to the Pass Rally in Dallas and had an even more fantastic time (no travel problems this time). My boss paid for the Summit and the Rally but training is tight for us just like it seems to be everywhere so while he might be able to pay for something next year or the year after in the mean time I’m on my own. Unfortunately my personal travel budget is maybe $20. Meaning anything I go to on my own dime has to be within driving range. So you can imagine how exited I was (and am) when I got an email from the North Texas SQL Servers Users Group announcing SQLSaturday #255 in Dallas! It’s just shy of a 2 hour drive but at least it’s doable.
I’m registered, and I’m counting down the months. I can’t wait to see everyone there!
