Getting Nexus 7 Connected To Windows 7

,

Have trouble getting your new Nexus 7 connected to Windows so you can move some media files over?

Install the drivers first from Asus.

Then, you need to disable USB Debugging in the Nexus by enabling the Developers menu. Where is it? It’s hidden by default. You have to unlock the hidden menu with a fancy little trick.

Go to Settings, About Tablet, then tap the ‘Build Number’ seven times. Once you hit the seventh time, it tells you that you have unlocked the developer mode. Go back a screen, and the Developer menu is now visible. Go in there and then disable USB Debugging. Immediately, Windows recognized my device!

Sheesh.
