Next week, I’ll be making a swing through central Colorado on a working vacation of sorts. I met up with Marc Beacom when I went up to Denver to speak at their SQL Saturday in September, and he mentioned that they have three user groups (Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Denver) that meet on three consecutive nights each month. My love for snowskiing makes it difficult for me to turn down a productive trip to Colorado, so we arranged a February tour through all 3 user groups. I’ll be presenting a new session entitled “Dirty Data? Clean It Up!”, covering various aspects of data cleansing in SSIS and T-SQL.
If you’re in the area, I’d love to say hello if you can make it to one of the meetings. I’ll be skiing for two half days on Wednesday and Thursday (at Loveland), and all day on Friday (either Vail or Keystone) – if you’re a skier, you’re welcome to join me and watch me fall down.
As always, thanks to these three SQL Server communities for their hospitality. Big thanks especially to Marc Beacom, who coordinated the trip with the three user groups and is gracious enough to let me stay at his place. Hopefully he’ll leave the liquor cabinet unlocked.
