It's pretty common to see a mild plea from blog authors asking for feedback, or ideas about which to write - and typically not much in the way of response. Most of us want to read/learn, not come up with ideas for someone else! Yet it's entirely valid to both want and need feedback, everyone wants to do well at their task, and most of us want to become better at it...though we may not always appreciate criticism.

So in that spirit, for those of you who read my blog, I've got a two part offer:

1) If you're currently writing a blog and would like some feedback, send me a note via awarren a-t endtoendtraining.com with your blog URL. I'll take the first 10 that I hear from. I'll go back a year or so, and send you my thoughts as they happen...could range from spotting typo's to thinking you wander too much or not enough, to maybe ideas for future topics or revisiting old ones. What do I get out of it? A chance to think about I like in blogs and why, and all I ask is that I can publish some notes about it in aggregate form (unless you're ok with me posting all the gory details). Whether my comments are worth anything...is left to you to decide!

2) I'd like the same kind of feedback on my blog. I'd like to get 2 experienced bloggers and 2 non-bloggers to read back over the last year, send an hour or so thinking about what I write, how I write, looking at my about page. I'm offering a $25 Amazon gift certficate to those I pick (so if you want to try it, send me a couple sentences about why you'd be a good reviewer to awarren a-t endtoendtraining.com. I would like to be able to post some or all of your comments to my blog, with or without attribution as you prefer.

Will it work? Don't know, but I'm trying to add a little karma to the quest!
