Ever wanted to know all there is to know about SQL Server, and afraid to ask? Have questions about how it will scale, how it applies to your own infrastructure project? Want to find out the future direction of the SQL Server product? Who better to answer these questions than the Microsoft Engineers themselves! Come out to New Jersey, April 13, 2013 and Ask The Expert Panel, Featuring Microsoft Premier Field Engineers (PFEs)
This special ½ day event will take place in Iselin, NJ – hosted by the New Jersey SQL Server User Group, a small, unofficial SQL [space] Saturday. Interestingly, this event will be sponsored by Pragmatic Works, (who will be offering the Master SSIS Workshop in NYC in May)
If you’re wondering what exactly a Premier Field Engineer is, they’re your friendly local MS technical engineer with real-world IT experience with customers in the field. According to Microsoft, they provide technical leadership for Microsoft customers around the world, promoting health in their IT and business environments through onsite, remote and dedicated support services. They actually have a dedicated Microsoft Premier Field Engineering web-site, so to learn more about them and find one near you, go online to http://www.pfedynamics.com/
The speaker and panel lead for the PFEs will be Simon Facer, PFE for Microsoft SQL Server. Simon’s a real nice chap (so take it easy on him), and knowledgeable guy.
Agenda: 8:30am: Registration / Breakfast 9:00am: Kick-Off/Introductions 9:15am: Ask the Expert Panel 11:30am-12:00pm: Closing / Networking
In line with Presidential Protocol, your advance questions are requested: If you want to assure that your general SQL Server questions will be addressed, please send your questions to njsql@outlook.com by Wednesday, April 10th.
Let’s also take a moment to thank John Dempsey, the new lead of the New Jersey SQL User Group, who took the reins of leadership recently from Melissa Demsak (who’s continuing the WIT crusade, and now evangelizing on Business Analytics)
John and I will be working together in the coming months on a special project to be announced very shortly! Stay tuned to the Pearlknows Blog.
