ApexSQL has an offer to anyone who is a SQL Server MVP or VIP for a gratuity of their ApexSQL Universal Studio package. In a thread post here (Editor in Chief editorial), Brian Lockwood re-extended the offer to any who qualified. MVP status certainly does. I took advantage of the offer a couple of days ago and have the full suite installed and it's a nice collection of tools. Of course, I'm biased towards ApexSQL having seen the tools grow in quality and quantity over time. Here are the reviews I've done on two of the tools:
Both reviews are from 2004 and both products have been worked on substantially since then (with numerous improvements and new features), so keep that in mind if you take a look at either review.
