I don’t generally post bits of this and that, but I’ve accrued a few things that I wanted to share, so here goes:
- Silicon Valley Code Camp has more than 3000 registered. Wow, that’s an awesome sized event. I’ve forwarded that to the PASS marketing team, we should find a way to participate and I hope there are a few of our speakers/members attending.
- The call for speakers for SQLSaturday #72 is open, in Hawaii. Karla Landrum played a big part in getting this one going and I’m thrilled that we’re extending our reach to a new area. Note, we still need to find someone to host events in Alaska, Wyoming, a few more, and that is just in the US. Work your networks!
- New PASS Board Member Mark Ginnebaugh told me that they’ve been using meetup.com to help promote their Chapter meetings – worth a try in other places.
