While working on Visual Basic 5 and 6 for five years, I was introduced to Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 there on I explored SQL Server technology. I have expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 to its latest form. I also worked with Pharma manufacturing Company, Jewellery manufacturing unit, and Healthcare Company as Sybase, SQL Server and Oracle consultant.

The Large Encoded Value

I want to use the new BASE64_ENCODE() function in SQL Server 2025, but return a string that isn't large type. What is the longest varbinary string I can pass in and still get a varchar(8000) returned?
