New Conference Series To Boost IT Professional’s careers
The current recession has hit many businesses hard and layoffs have been extensive in many areas. In order to both boost the careers of currently employed IT (Information Technology) professionals as well as increase the employability of those recently unemployed, WorkTamer will be providing professional development training by conducting a series of one-day conferences.
The conference sessions will cover topics ranging from project management to women in technology and from design planning to successful telecommuting. We have chosen speakers who are working professionals willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
Three cities are scheduled for 2010: Vancouver (British Columbia), Toronto (Ontario) and Montreal (Quebec). This will allow attendees from many cities throughout Canada to participate without travel costs.
- Vancouver: January 5, 2010
- Toronto: February 16, 2010
- Montreal: March 10, 2010
The conference does not have any keynote session or vendor booths to detract from the primary purpose: expanding the soft skills of attendees. 18 sessions spread among 6 time slots in a single day allows attendees a broad selection without having to make tough choices about which sessions to attend.
