We're looking to secure our email domain reputation by changing DMARC settings so email providers receiving an email that spoofs our domain will automatically reject it.
If you use an email forwarding service that strips the original headers of an email, then you may stop receiving the newsletter. This is most likely to happen if you forward the newsletters from a work email domain to Gmail or a similar web-based email provider. This is not a standard behaviour, so hopefully very few people will be affected. However, under certain circumstances, Outlook can also strip headers, so be aware..
You can resolve this by changing your email address on SQLServerCentral to the address where you want to receive email. Without forwarding the service provider can authenticate the email directly, which should solve the problem.
We are planning on making this change on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
