Simple-Talk and SQLServerCentral.com are coming together this Christmas to present the Tribal Awards.
The Tribal Awards recognize the Tribe Leaders, members of the development and database administration community who are going above and beyond, whether by giving a great talk, consistently providing excellent guidance in forums, or giving a stellar SQL Karaoke performance.
The awards are inspired by Tribal SQL, a community book put together by Simple Talk, the Midnight DBAs, and 15 new authors on the core responsibilities of a database administrator.
Nominations open on Monday December 9, when you’ll be able to submit names for each of the categories below. On Monday December 23, voting opens for the top 5 nominees in each category. Voting will close on December 31, with winners announced on Tuesday January 7.
$50 Amazon vouchers are also up for grabs for people nominating others. Three will be given away to people who tweet their nomination using the hashtag #TribalAwards and follow @Simple_Talk to see if they’ve won.
