User Groups
Most of you have a local user group that is always in need of speakers. Consider practicing a presentation there and working on your delivery. It doesn't have to be perfect, but share something you've learned. I'm sure most of them would love even a 15-20 minute talk on some subject.
Career Builder
Practicing your delivery, your teaching, your communication skills is a great career builder. You'd be surprised how easy an interview is after you've been on stage sharing information with a group ahead of time.
If you are advancing in your career, consider giving a short talk somewhere this year and helping out your fellow SQL Server professionals.
