Congratulations to Jeff Moden and Michael Coles!!

Both Jeff and Michael were awarded MVP status from Microsoft, being recognized for their outstanding contributions to the community and knowledge of SQL Server. On behalf of the SQLServerCentral.com community, I'd like to congratulate both of these very talented gentleman on their achievement.

I have appreciated their support here on the site, answering thousands of questions and writing articles that many others have recognized as being authoritative and extremely useful in quite a few areas of SQL Server.

Jeff has provided many, many, answers on the site, being one of the most prolific and helpful posters in our forums. In addition, with a little prodding from your editor, he's written some great articles on T-SQL and brought "RBAR" to our vocabularies.

Michael has contributed a number of articles, and a very useful DBA toolkit containing a number of handy functions that DBAs around the world use. He has also worked on a few books this year, including Pro SQL Server 2005 Development and Pro SQL Server 2008 XML.
