Read Only Access to a SQL Server 2000 system

  A developer requires read only access to some jobs and DTS packages.

  I granted them read only on msdb and master.

  Execute permissions on 'xp_sqlagent_enum_jobs' but the can not read the jobs.

  Any suggestions?

  Try adding the user to the TargetServerROle in MSDB. That should give them access
