No line breaks in code when copied from [code] tag

    I do not know if it is my browser, but everytime I copy code from a code tag and paste it into SSMS or notepad the code does not have line breaks. The code is mashed together on 1 line.

    My question is: Does everyone else have this problem, or should I check my browser settings?

    Seems we all suffer from this and, I presume, the site administrators are aware of it.

    A workaround suggested by Jeff Modem works fine for me, i.e. paste into MS Word and take it from there.

    Well at least there is a work around 😀

    I look forward to the day I can copy well formatted code from this site.

    This appears to be an IE6 issue and we're looking for something else we can do.

    If you paste into Word or Wordpad, it should appear ok, then it can move to SSMS.
