Removing BUILTIN\Administors problems

    If I drop the BUILTIN\Administorators ID jobs that are owned by an AD ID won't run via SQL Agent. The ID is the ID that installed and runs SQL Server and has 'sa' rights. If I add the BUILTIN\Administors ID Back into SQL Server the jobs run fine. Any ideas?

    You can remove the BUILTIN\Administrators and add the required AD Users/Groups to SQL Server and grant them appropriate rights.

    I know... and I did. The USERID that owns the job and runs SQL Server has 'sa' rights but when I right click it and say start job it never starts if BUILTIN\Admin is dropped. As soon as I add it back in the job runs... goofy!
