Microsoft BI conference

  • How many of you are going to the Microsoft BI conference?

I just had an organizational changes, my new manager made me write down what kind of courses I will take if he sends me to the conference and what kind of benefit those courses will bring back to the team's objective and this year's project.

I said I did not know what kind of benefit that I would use in this year's project, so I said that I would not go to the conference.

My former manager knew about this and said I was not professional and negative towards my new manager.  As a matter of fact, I do  not like my  new manager.

Every time when my job is going good, something will happen and I have to switch job.

  • Loner,

You will see all the classes in the first link below, I think Microsoft needs to increase the number of women presenters teaching the classes because Ralph Kimball's team is 60% women and I just got Bill Inmon's invitation his team is only three people one is a woman so it is 30% so when Microsoft's percentages improve I will attend.  I think Bill Inmon deal was the best value for the money $995 for three days and you get certified at the end, while Ralph Kimbal's Microsoft class is the most expensive at $2600 for course fee only without certification.
