LINK Server/Provider

  Good dya,

  I am using SQL server 2005. When I tried link a server, I click the server objects and then linked servers. Then when click the Provider in other to select the provider type I received the following error message after about 5 minutes:

  Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'Description', table 'tempdb.dbo.#OLEDBProv__________________________________________________________________________00000000001D'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.

  The statement has been terminated. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 515)

  Can some help with this issue?
