Hi guys, I have a problem, I have Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition I have installed SQL Server 2000 on it, and I'm working with Delphi 5 and in some times I lost the connection with my server, shows a message "Connection Failure" it accurs not always but before I work with Windows Sever 2003 I was working with Server 2000 and I haven't problems with Server 2000. Any sugestion...What can I do ?...

The operating system itself may be the cause, but it's not likely. Do you have anything else that points to a problem (SQL Server error logs, Application and System event logs)? Have there been any changes to your network infrastructure? Is the server under greater load than previously?
As you can probably guess by my questions, there are a lot of reasons you could now be getting that error other than just a change in operating system. Hence the reason I'm asking about the other logs.

Check that the windows firewall is not enabled on the server. and that there are no settings closing off the default SQL ports.

Check that power management doesn't manage the network card.

This is proably nothing to do with SQL Server, IF you use the BDE (borland databse engine to connect to sql you wll have to configure the BDE properly) There should be a program called BDEAdmin.exe on your machine.
