What is the best method to use to connect to a SQL DB using Business Objects to create reports? I know ODBC is one way. Are there any other methods that may be used? Which one is more efficient? Is ODBC the only method? We are running SQL Server 2000 (SP3) Standard Edition on Windows 2003 EE.
Thanks in advance for you assistance, Kevin

We are using Business Objects XI. Please just let me know the different ways I may set up a BO Connection. (I do not have a lot of information on BO.)

Hi
Okay now XI comes with different content types if you are using crystal reports you have a number of ways to connect to SQL the best probably being OLEDB. Now if you are creating Webi reports through BO you will need to connect via the BO middle ware.
