Stored Procedure

  • Hi,

Please tell me what type of stored procedures are called Housekeeping Stored procedures.I have some SPs for taking backups, monitoring the database space, datafile space, index rebuilding and intergrity.

    Thanks in advance

  • Those would certainly qualify as "housekeeping" stored procedures. I'm curious... why the question?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

Depends who you ask. That's not a term with a universally accepted definition.

Why is it important to you?
