Inspired by the SQL Night Before Christmas in this thread, how about something more modest, composing SQL Server Haikus (remember they are 5-7-5 syllables). Here are a couple and hope to see others' as well:
The index is built
So the query runs quickly.
Now the backup fails.
How many triggers
Does it take to go crazy?
It only takes one.
Looking forward to see other submissions. 🙂

I think there should be a separate SQL Haiku forum where both questions and answers must be posted in the form of a Haiku.

I wrote this a couple of months ago. Not Haiku but poetical SQL:-
Once upon a database,
Some tables did aface,
A view or two,
it could be true,
improve the app with grace.
If upon an Insert,
A Trigger may be set,
The data you try to enter,
May instead reject.
A cursor it would seem,
Had blocked my code routine,
Had it not been for the Governor,
I'd have said something obscene.
