Error 14117 setting up replication

  I'm trying to setup SQL Server replication and am getting the following error

  "SQL Server Enterprise Manager could not enable 'BBLABCW01.DEVLAB.COM' as a Publlisher.  Error 14117: 'distribution' is not configured as a distribution database" 

  Now I've had replication working at one time, but disabled it and now I'm not able to get it working again, so something is missing I think.  I'm pretty new to SQL Server, all Oracle experience.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

  try to disable replication through the gui and try to enable it again.
