we have sql 2000 standard and want to upgrade to sql 2000 enterprise. it looks like the only way to do this is to purchase sql 2005 and use the downgrade rights.
would we have to purchase sql 2005 standard or sql 2005 enterprise?
Great question and I'd love to know the answer here as well. I'd call MS on this one and get them to give you a real answer. My suspicion is they'll say Enterprise->Enterprise.
