Hello,
Can someone please recommend the best books and practice tests (free, if available) to prepare for exam 70-228 ?
Thanks

You can download practice exams from http://www.ucertify.com and/or http://www.preplogic.com. These both offer a limited amount of questions to test yourself with but you will have to pay for the full set I'm afraid.

Transcender has worked very well for me in the past for 70-228 and 70-229.
Good luck with the test.

The official MS Press books for 228 and 229 worked well for me. I have both, if you're interested, though I won't give them to you for free. I'm asking $80 for both, shipping included. Email me russs@abct.com if interested.
So long, and thanks for all the fish,

Hi there,
I have used the book "Inside SQL Server 2000" for both the ms 70-228 and 70-229.It worked fine for me. It's a books for programming and administering SQL server 2000.
Also the Transecender exams worked fine for me. It's almost like the real exam and you need the fanmswer all questions in a certain time (the same time you,ve for the actual exam).
